Cutaneous Lesions
Aura, Gemini, Diolite and Varilite are best for treating Cutaneous Lesions.
Cutaneous lesions including skin tags, keratoses, and warts are amenable to 532nm and 585nm treatment. Current literature suggests that the treatment beam is heating the melanin at the D/E junction and oxyhemoglobin in the upper papillary dermis. The endpoint for treatment is a subtle frosting and graying lesion. Cutaneous lesions will dry forming crusts that will slough 5 to 10 days after treatment.
